Where digital imaging meets beeswax! Images are from a variety of sources, including my own photographs or watercolour paintings. The image is laser printed on rice paper then bonded to a rigid base followed by layers of wax and sometimes additional images to create a collage. It may then be further enhanced using a range of techniques such as added vegetation to create depth or a shellac burn, using a blowtorch, to create a cellular effect... Early images were on 20mm blockboard but later ones are on 12mm MDF. Standard size is 10" x 8", with some as 8" square.
