About Blakedown Environmental Monitor Station

The data displays are generated on demand by retrieving log files stored on my own web server. There are currently 4 files each coming from a different Raspberry Pi data collection station. The 4 stations are linked to the home WIFI and automatically upload the data logs at 10 minute intervals.
The website takes the data files and extracts the reuired data to generate the required graphical displays.

The PM++ display option show the current particle pollution from two sensors, PMS (red) and SDS (Yellow). Pressing the option button sequences through SDS, PMS, both, none. There is a separate PM10 button to select particle size of 2.5 ug/m3 or 10ug/m3.

From April 2024 there is a PV KW display option which shows total domestic KW import (in yellow) and KW export from the combined solar panels (in green). Initially for interest only although it may lead to some export KW diversion at some point.

From 1st Dec 2024, new GRID button added to show National Grid energy contributions from Gas, Nuclear, Solar, Wind, BioFuel.
 
From 1st Jan 2025, Ongoing total Grid generating capacity (in GW) added to GRID display.
